About this part
When fired cases stop flying clear and start dribbling out, the ejector spring has lost tension. It’s one of the cheapest parts on the gun and one of the most satisfying to renew — crisp ejection makes a fast second pair feel effortless.
We supply both the ejector spring (BF-EJS) and the ejector hammer spring (BF-EJHS) for the DT11, 690, 692 and 686/687 families, wound from correct spring steel and cycle-tested.

Questions
Ejector spring or ejector hammer spring — which is it?
Both can cause weak ejection. The ejector spring (BF-EJS) powers the ejector itself; the ejector hammer spring (BF-EJHS) drives the trip. If you're not sure, order both — together they're still inexpensive.
My empties drop straight down — is this the fix?
Almost always, yes, once you've ruled out gummed-up channels. Clean and re-lube first; if ejection is still weak, the spring is tired and worth renewing.
Does this fit my 692 Sporting?
Yes — it fits the 690, 692 and 686/687 families as well as the DT11. Tell us your exact model to be sure.
Is this a DIY fit?
Ejector springs are fiddly but doable with the right care; many shooters have a gunsmith do it as a quick bench job alongside a service.
