About this part
The sears (top PN 160, bottom PN 159) are the heart of the Perazzi trigger’s clean break. As engagement surfaces wear or get over-polished by a previous owner, the trigger develops creep or becomes inconsistent — and on a competition gun, that costs targets.
Our sears are CNC-machined from hardened alloy steel and finished to the correct engagement geometry, so they restore a defined wall and a predictable let-off. Sold individually so you can replace only what you need.

Questions
Top or bottom sear — which do I need?
Top barrel uses PN 160, bottom uses PN 159. If only one barrel's break feels off, you may only need one. When in doubt, replace as a pair for a matched feel.
Will new sears change my trigger pull weight?
They restore the factory engagement, so a trigger that had crept or lightened from wear will feel crisp and consistent again. We don't recommend altering engagement to chase a lighter pull — that's a safety matter best left to a gunsmith.
Do these fit the selectable and non-selectable triggers?
Yes, the sears are common across the MX detachable trigger group. Tell us your setup if you'd like us to confirm.
Is fitting a DIY job?
Sear replacement is best done by a competent gunsmith to set engagement safely. We can supply alongside springs and pins so it's a single job.
